My goal with this post is to bring you up to speed with basic ai things.
There is more to come and if you find this too boring see AI and stuff (Advanced).
You may think he is exaggerating a bit. But don’t let that make you miss the point.

Tools
Here a list of tools I recommend setting up and installing on your phone.
- |ChatGPT - There are many so called LLMs (Lange Language Models), but ChatGPT is just fine
- |Perplexity - For searching stuff online
(Both of them have the |Deep Research feature, previously talked about in first video)
- There is also Veo 3, for realistic video generation
- Many other tools for photo generation.
- And also things like “mcp” and “AI Agents” about which I won’t talk about here. It’s not worth going into yet, unless you either already use these tools mentioned in this post extensively or run a Business. (It will be talked about here: AI and stuff (Advanced))
You should honestly be a bit worried if you haven’t been using Google or the internet effectively to begin with.
I don’t mean this in a rude way, and I’m not trying to plant negative thoughts in your head - but if you don’t have that internal trigger that nudges you to search something up when you’re curious, that’s a problem.
It would be that very same trigger that you would massively benefit from. It’s kinda like Write it down! (the idea that you should write and capture any random idea, thought or something to remind yourself about).
If you ever find yourself even slightly wondering things like:
- why it feel like time goes by faster as we get older
- why we never found aliens if there are billions of planets
- why 16 year old americans look like 26 year old europeans
Then don’t ignore it.

Perplexity
Perplexity is an AI powered search engine that answers questions with concise, cited summaries by reading websites in real-time.
In essence, it does the googling for you and creates a summary. It’s very powerful my friend.

Deep Research
Deep Research is a feature that many AI like ChatGPT, Perplexity and many more have to create comprehensive research by analyzing many of sources (websites).
The following video is actually meant to show the new Labs feature in Perplexity, but you’ll still get the gist.

I recommend using these tools regularly. No need to force your self, but if ask you self something, don’t discard the thought but instead look it up or and Write it down!.
